Tom Holland Confirms Peter Parker Made His First MCU Appearance in IRON MAN 2
Turns out Captain America: Civil War wasn't the first time that we saw Peter Parker in the MCU. Tom Holland just confirmed that Peter actually made his debut in Iron Man 2! He says that information came directly from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, so this is legit!
Remember this scene?
Well, the kid that stands up to Justin Hammer's robot drones, who ends up being saved by Iron Man is Peter Parker! No joke! Holland said:
“It is Peter Parker. I can confirm that, that is Peter Parker. I can confirm that as of today. I literally had a conversation with Kevin Feige only 20 minutes ago. Maybe I’ve just done a big, old spoiler, but it’s out there now. It’s cool. I like the idea that Peter Parker has been in the universe since the beginning."
I love the idea that Peter is that kid! That's just so damn cool and it fits right in with the story arc and relationship involving Tony Stark and Peter Parker.
I don't know if that was just an inside thing they thought of doing all those years ago, or if that's just an idea they recently came up with to connect Peter to Iron Man early on in the MCU because of the fan theories. It's probably the latter, but either way... it works, and I like that it's been acknowledged as being a fact. What do you think about it?
