Tom Holland Discusses His Future Shooting Schedule With SPIDER-MAN 3 and UNCHARTED
Hollywood is closed down, along with the rest of the non-essential working world during this pandemic. Projects have been put on hold and pushed back and shuffled around, and we are just waiting to see what everything will look like when restrictions are lifted and life gets back to normal.
Actor Tom Holland recently made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and talked about his experience in all this, and how it has affected his most recent film, as well as the films he has coming up:
“I’m not too sure. I was in Berlin, making a film called ‘Uncharted ‘with Mark Wahlberg. We were all ready to go, we went to set for day one of shooting, and then we got shut down and we got sent home. So whether we shoot that movie first or we shoot ‘Spider-Man’ first, I’m not clear.”
No one is clear at this point. But that’s okay. We need to be flexible, as things were shut down so quickly, and we just don’t know when it’s all going to be over. But Holland assures us that both films are looking great, and will definitely still be happening once things are back to normal.
“But both movies are being made and they’re both really strong and the scripts are fantastic, so whatever happens, happens.”
That’s good to hear. Lots of dates are going to have to be shuffled around, but it’s a small price to pay to keep everyone safe, and to be able to get back to our lives. I sure hope that there are some movie theaters that survive this time, as these are movies I want to be able to see on the big screen!
Uncharted is set to hit theaters, for now, on October 8, 2021, and the Untitled Spider-Man sequel has a release date of July 16, 2021. What movie are you most looking forward to?
