Tom Holland Poised to Earn Over $100 Million for SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY
This summer’s blockbuster, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, was a big win for Marvel, and it got us fans all geared up for the upcoming slate that includes the next two Avengers movies.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man films have always been big earners for the studio, and as they banked on him to buoy the franchise, Holland is reportedly getting a major payday in return.
In a report from The Wrap, we learned that Holland stands to make over $100 million for starring in Brand New Day, a massive haul that puts him in the rare category of Hollywood’s top-earning actors and already comes on top of a payday from his other 2026 global hit, The Odyssey.
According to three sources of the outlet, who have knowledge of Holland’s deal, the actor scored a base salary of at least $20 million up front — an increase of $10 million from his last Spider-Man gig — with the potential to earn upwards of $100 million when backend bonuses are factored in as the film zooms towards a final global box office haul of over $2 billion.
On top of that, Holland’s backend bonus is not capped, so there’s no ceiling to how much he may ultimately make, one individual added. Spider-Man 4 crossed $2 billion at the global box office this weekend, and is only in its third week of release.
Holland is great in this role, and he’s definitely getting a dazzling compensation for his hard work. I look forward to seeing his return.
