Tom Holland Reveals Which Snap Ended Up Tearing Open the Multiverse
The first film to play with the multiverse in the MCU will be Spider-Man: Far From Home. Nick Fury explains in the trailer for the film that the multiverse was created during “The Snap,” but as you know there were four snaps over the course of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. One to wipe out half of every living thing, one to destroy the Infinity Stones, one to bring everyone back, and one to destroy Thanos and his army. So, which of these snaps tore open the multiverse? Tom Holland has that answer for you!
During a recent interview, the actor confirmed that it was Thanos's actions that created the multiverse and tore open a hole that allowed Mysterio and the Elementals to travel to Earth 616. Here’s what Holland said:
"Mysterio in this movie is actually my new best friend. We team up together to fight these Elemental creatures because when Thanos snapped his fingers, these creatures came through the dimensional rift."
A lot of fans still think that the story Mysterio is selling may not be true, that this could all be a misdirect. I just don’t think that Marvel would do that again, but we’ll find out what’s true and what’s not soon enough.
How do you think things are going to play out in Far From Home? Do you think the story that Mysterio is telling everyone is the truth?
