Tom Holland Is Excited for SPIDER-MAN 4 but Doesn't Know If It Will Happen; He Also Wants to Usher in Miles Morales
Tom Holland has been keeping busy in Hollywood, with several film and TV projects under his belt and more on the horizon. With his Spider-Man: Home trilogy completed, and Marvel having launched a new saga and phase, we are expecting to see a new Spider-Man film, especially after the tragedy that was the last film. But when will that happen?
Not even Tom Holland knows. He recently said in a new interview with Inverse:
"Whether or not it'll come to fruition, who knows? But right now it's looking pretty good, and we'll just have to wait and see."
He also went on to say that he'd love to help usher in a live-action Miles Morales, the star of the animated Spider-Verse projects.
"I would be honored to bring Miles Morales into the live action world. How we do that, I don't know, but given the opportunity, I would jump at it.”
The groundwork has already been laid for this to happen in the MCU, as we saw Holland’s Peter Parker meet Miles Morales’ uncle, Aaron Davis (played by Donald Glover), in Spider-Man: Homecoming. I can’t wait for the next chapter of Spider-Man to be delivered. I know it will have to be the right time within the MCU, but it has to happen. We can’t just leave Peter Parker hanging after that epically sad end to his trilogy. Let’s get him his friends back, and give him a win. He deserves it!
We will keep you posted as information emerges.
