Tom Holland Says Main Villain in SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY "Is Still Very Much a Secret" and "Unlike Anything We've Seen"
It’s been ten years since Tom Holland joined the MCU as this generation’s Peter Parker. Back then, the actor was notorious for having a very hard time keeping a poker face when talking to the press about Marvel films and their sneaky secrets.
He’s come a long way, and now he is teasing us with info about Spider-Man: Brand New Day that he is keeping quite close to the chest.
In a recent interview with Global Box Office, Holland said of the film, “The villain that we have in this movie – which is still very much a secret – is, I think, unlike anything we’ve seen in one of these movies before.”
That’s a pretty major reveal! We already know from the film’s trailers that the story will include the classic Marvel villains Tombstone, Scorpion, Ramrod, Boomerang, and Tarantula, as well as The Hand, and the Savage Hulk.
That’s a pretty full lineup already, so to think we haven’t even seen the worst of it is wild. We still don’t have confirmation of Sadie Sink’s character, so that may be who Holland is referring to, but we will just have to wait and see.
Luckily we are just a month away now. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is swinging into theatres on July 31, 2026.
