Tom Welling Would Play Superman Again Alongside Robert Pattinson's Batman

Smallville actor Tom Welling has always shown hesitance to playing Superman again after his time on the classic DC series. He did recently reprise his role as Clark Kent in The CW's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" TV event in 2019, which was cool. But, would he ever reprise that role again? Yeah, he actually would!

Welling is good friends with Robert Pattinson, and it’s that friendship that motivates his interest in reprising his role. In an interview with El Mundo Geek de Ernestoneitor (via CBR), Welling was asked if her would reprise his role of Superman alongside Pattinson’s Batman and he said:

"Yeah, I think that would be cool. My buddy Rob Pattinson, he is going to be the new Batman. I would love it. It would be fun to be the Superman that shows up in his movie, just because he is a friend of mine. Yeah, who knows?"

I doubt that Warner Bros. would ever push to make that happen, but the fans would freakin’ flip out over it! It’d be awesome if they were able to come up with a story to tell with those actors in the DC universe. But, even if they didn’t, it’d be fun to see them star together in a completely different film project. What do you think?
