Top 20 Most Pirated Movies in 2014

The sad truth is Hollywood will never be able to stop pirated films. As long as the internet exists it’s going to happen. I personally prefer to see movies in the movie theater in a top quality atmosphere, because that’s just how I roll. I’m not big on watching low quality versions of films on a computer screen. With the rising costs at the movies, though, I can understand why some people would opt to find it online and watch it for free. I’m not condoning it because it’s not right, but I do get why people do it. 

I’ve got a list of the top 20 films that were pirated in 2014, and I’m kind of shocked to see that Guardians of the Galaxy isn’t on the list. Seems like people actually went out of their way to get the movie theater experience with that one. Who knows if that will hold through 2015 though. A lot of the films that made the list are actually films from 2013. Disney’s Frozen came in at #2 and Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street landed the #1 spot.
