Top 25 Films I Can't Wait to See in 2021
There were a lot of movies in 2020 that I was excited about seeing last year, but a lot of those films have been pushed to 2021, so many of my most anticipated films of 2020 have carried over to this year.
I’m looking forward to watching a lot of films in 2021 and most of them I’d like to see in theaters on the big screen, but who knows if I’ll have that opportunity, especially due to the fact that I live in Los Angeles, and at this rate, I don’t think they will ever open the city up again.
So, there are my most anticipated films of 2021. Look over my list and let me know what films you’re most excited about seeing.
Top Gun: Maverick - July 2, 2021

Dune - October 1, 2021

A tangled web of royal intrigue is revealed with the Emperor and other cosmic powers pulling the strings while attempting to erase house Atreides.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife - June 11, 2021
When a single mother and her two children move to a new town, they soon discover that they have a connection to the original Ghostbusters and their grandfather's secret legacy.
Black Widow - May 7th, 2021
Black Widow is set between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War and sees the character travel back to Budapest while she is on the run from the U.S. Government, which is hunting her down because of her actions in Civil War. While in Budapest she reunites with her “family” that consists of Red Guardian, Yelena Belova, and Melina, and they will “go back to where it all started” for a mission, which I assume is the place where the Black Widow program is at.
Eternals - November 5, 2021
The Eternals are a race of immortal aliens who were sent to Earth 35,000 years ago by the Celestials to protect humankind from the Deviants. “It’s about this group of incredible immortals, but through their journey, we really get to explore what it means to be human and humanity on our time on this planet.”

Halloween Kills - October 15, 2021
Michael Meyers returns again to Terrorize Laurie Strode and her family. It will also see the return of several characters from the original film including the kids that Strode was babysitting on the night of the original attack.
Godzilla Vs. King Kong - May 21, 2021
Fearsome monsters Godzilla and King Kong square off in an epic battle for the ages, while humanity looks to wipe out both of the creatures and take back the planet once and for all.

The Many Saints of Newark - March 12, 2021
This is The Sopranos prequel and the story will be set in the era of the Newark riots in the ‘60s. "That was a time when the African-Americans and the Italians of Newark were at each other’s throats, and amongst the gangsters of each group, those conflicts became especially lethal."
Fast and Furious 9 - May 28, 2021
We don’t know what the story will entail, but we know that the film is going to be loaded with epic action and fast cars!
Morbius - March 19, 2021
Morbius, a.k.a. Dr. Michael Morbius, is "a scientist who suffered from a rare blood disease and attempted to cure himself to disastrous results. Instead of being cured, he became afflicted with a condition that was a form of vampirism — the thirst for blood, along with fangs and super strength — and fought Spider-Man. Free Guy - May 21, 2021

West Side Story - December 10, 2021

Spiral: From The Book of Saw - May 21, 2021

Spider-Man 3 is shaping up to be an incredibly epic film as it will continue Spider-Man’s journey and this time he’ll be joined by Doctor Strange and a ton of other characters that have appeared in various Spider-Man films over the years.
Mission: Impossible 7 - November 19, 2021
Tom Cruise is back in action as Ethan for the seventh installment in the franchise that showcased his willingness to engage in death-defying stunts. Christopher McQuarrie will also be back as writer and director after serving those roles in the last two films.
Mortal Kombat - 2021
