Totally Insany Trailer for the ANIMANIACS Reboot Complete with Pinky and the Brain

The Animaniacs are back and zanier than ever! Hulu has shared a new full trailer for the animated reboot, and I think fans of the original series are going to like what they see. I grew up enjoying the original series, and it looks like this reboot perfectly captures the ridiculous comedic tone and insany humor that we all loved about the show! I’m convinced from what I’ve seen that this is going to be at least just as good as the original and that makes me happy.

The new trailer teases all kinds of wacky humor with the Warner Brothers and their sister Dot, and it also gives us our first look at Pinky and the Brain back in action trying to take over the world. I’m excited to watch this!

The original voice cast have come back to reprise their roles in the series. That cast includes Rob Paulsen as Yakko, Tress MacNeille as Dot, and Jess Harnell as Wakko. The reboot will see the “three inseparable, irascible siblings who have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet. They have been locked away in the Warner Bros. water tower for a very long time, but they have found a way to escape. And escape they do — every day! Causing chaos and comic confusion, Yakko, Wakko and Dot run loose in the city, turning the world into their personal playground.”

Steven Spielberg has returned to executive produce the series, alongside Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation and Blue Ribbon Content. Amblin Television is producing the reboot in association with Warner Bros. Animation.

Season 1 will consist of 13 episodes and will premiere on November 29th, 2020. There’s also a second season in development consisting of 13 more episodes that will come to Hulu sometime in 2021.
