TOTALLY SPIES! Returns Next Year With Season 7

Sam, Clover, and Alex are coming out of spy retirement in 2024! French media company Banijay Kids & Family recently confirmed that Warner Bros. Discovery has acquired Totally Spies! and will launch a seventh season next year. I’ve already talked extensively about how fun the show is (for the most part), and this sounds like a lot of fun since there’s talk about updating it for a new audience. I am being cautious about my optimism though. As I’ve previously noted on the site, season six was pretty problematic in my opinion from a storytelling standpoint and so I’m curious about the approach season seven will take. Benoît Di Sabatino of Banijay Kids & Family said:

With strong female leads and an aesthetic that has inspired a generation, Totally Spies! is an iconic show with a hugely passionate global fanbase, eager to join the agents on their latest adventures. The new series stays true to all the key elements that make the show so popular, but has been lovingly updated for a new audience, reflecting the modern challenges faced by both high-schoolers and spies alike!

Aurelie Wack of Warner Bros. Discovery Kids & Family shared:

We are thrilled to be bringing the much-awaited iconic spy trio Sam, Clover, and Alex to Max and Cartoon Network in EMEA. We cannot wait to welcome Totally Spies!’ passionate fanbase to our platforms and introduce the girls to a brand new audience. With strong female leads and a diverse offering of modern themes, the France-produced hit Totally Spies! broadens our appeal and demonstrates our commitment to European content.

We don’t know too much about season seven of Totally Spies!, but we do know that it will run for 26 episodes and each one will be 22 minutes. Di Sabatino will produce the seventh season and Stephane Berry, who has directed five previous seasons, will direct the new season. Gary Milne and Ludovic Taron will serve as executive producers. Totally Spies! season seven will premiere in 2024 on Cartoon Network in the United States and then launch on Max in EMEA.
