A trailer and poster have been released for the murder mystery Trouble Sleeping. The film stars Vanessa Angel, Billy Zane, Rick Otto, Ingrid Eskeland, Kale Clauson, and Fred Stoller. This movie is perplexing because while I watched the trailer, I thought it looked so terrible that is must be a straight to VOD film, or perhaps a Lifetime original, but it’s headed for theaters. I also thought that it could have been a spoof of the genre, like we’ve seen recently with popular shows, but nope, dead serious. So suffice it to say, this looks bad. But maybe so bad, you could have a little fun with it!

Here’s the film’s short synopsis:

Tormented by the memories of her late-husband's suicide, Vanessa's (Vanessa Angel) life is even further complicated by the arrival of her stepson, who will soon inherit all of his father's wealth.
