Trailer and Poster for Netflix Documentary THE ANTHRAX ATTACKS About the 2001 Anthrax Mail Attack

A new trailer and poster have been released for the Netflix documentary The Anthrax Attacks, which follows the 2001 Anthrax mail attacks that were carried out in the weeks after the September 11th bombings. Documentarian Dan Krauss (The Kill Team, 5B) made the pic for Netflix, and while most of the film is told documentary style, some of it is dramatized, and played by Clark Gregg (The New Adventures of Old Christine, The Avengers).

Here’s the synopsis:

The Anthrax Attacks tells the story of the 2001 anthrax attacks on the United States and one of the largest and most complex FBI investigations in the history of law enforcement. Five Americans were killed and at least 17 fell ill in what became one of the worst biological attacks in U.S. history, which followed one week after the September 11 terrorist attacks. Unfolding across America and beyond, it's an incredible scientific tale of deadly poison, obsession, and paranoia, all told against the backdrop of the war on terror. Using a combination of interviews and scripted reenactments based on emails + FBI field notes, the documentary feature also shares shocking and heartbreaking stories from investigators, survivors and the families of those who were infected.

This looks really interesting. I remember when all of this was happening. It was a really scary time, and it looks like we are finally getting the whole story behind the events that took place. Check out the trailer and poster below, and watch The Anthrax Attacks on Netflix on September 8th.
