Trailer for Coming of Age Werewolf Romance Horror Film MY ANIMAL with Amandla Stenberg

Paramount Pictures has released a trailer for its new coming of age werewolf romantic horror film My Animal. The film stars Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give, Star Wars: Acrylate), and it follows her character as she falls in love with the town’s new girl who happens to be a werewolf.

In the film, Bobbi Salvör Menuez (Euphoria) and Stenberg “ignite in this genre-bending supernatural love story. Tormented by a hidden family curse, Heather is forced to live a secluded life on the outskirts of a small town. When she falls for the rebellious Jonny, their connection threatens to unravel Heather’s suppressed desires, tempting her to unleash the animal within.”

The film comes from director Jacqueline Castel, and it also stars Heidi von Palleske, Cory Lipman, Charlie & Harrison Halpenny, Joe Apollonio, Scott Thompson, Dean McDermott, and Stephen McHattie.

The film made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, and it will arrive in select theaters on September 8th. It will then be followed by its digital release on September 15th.
