Trailer For a Fantastic Looking Sci-Fi Western Called PROSPECT with Pedro Pascal
I've got a fantastic trailer for you to watch today for an indie film called Prospect, and it's a sci-fi thriller that has a western genre vibe. Read the synopsis and watch the trailer and you'll see what I mean.
The story centers on a teenage girl and her father, who travel to a remote alien moon aiming to strike it rich. "They've secured a contract to harvest a large deposit of the elusive gems hidden in the depths of the moon's toxic forest. But there are others roving the wilderness and the job quickly devolves into a fight to survive. Forced to contend not only with the forest's other ruthless inhabitants, but with her own father's greed-addled judgment, the girl finds she must carve her own path to escape."
This seriously looks like a great film, and after watching the trailer, I couldn't be more excited to check it out. Not only does the story seem solid, but it looks visually awesome!
The movie stars Jay Duplass, Sophie Thatcher, Pedro Pascal, Andre Royo, Sheila Vand, and Anwan Glover. The film is set to premiere at the SXSW Film Festival this month.
