Trailer for Fun-Looking New Horror Comedy SORRY ABOUT THE DEMON
Shudder has released a fun trailer for an upcoming horror comedy titled Sorry About the Demon, and it looks like a pretty entertaining flick! The story centers on a character named Will, who, after being dumped by his girlfriend, moves into a haunted house where the spirit demands a human sacrifice. It looks like the movie delivers some great comedic moments with this concept!
The film follows the “brokenhearted Will (Jon Michael Simpson), who after being dumped by his girlfriend Amy (Paige Evans), is suddenly offered a massive house at a very low rent. The catch is that the restless spirit haunting the place needs a human sacrifice and the prior owners must find one or else their young daughter is toast. So, Will must figure out how to make things right with his ex-girlfriend AND banish the sacrifice-seeking demon still residing in his house.”
The movie was written and directed by Emily Hagins (My Sucky Teen Romance, Grow Up Tony Phillips, and Coin Heist). The movie also stars Jeff McQuitty, Olivia Ducayen, Dave Peniuk, and Sarah Cleveland.
I enjoy the light-hearted humor that I’m seeing in this trailer mixed with the haunting horror aspect of the movie. This looks like it’ll be a fun flick to watch! Sorry About the Demon streams on Shudder starting January 19th, 2023.
