Trailer for Great-Looking Crime Thriller PARADISE HIGHWAY with Morgan Freeman, Juliette Binoche, and Frank Grillo
Lionsgate has released a trailer for an upcoming crime thriller titled Paradise Highway, and it looks like a great movie! Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the film has an awesome cast that includes Juliette Binoche (Chocolat, The English Patient, Damage) as a truck driver, Morgan Freeman as an FBI agent, Cameron Monaghan (Jedi: Fallen Order), Frank Grillo, Hala Finley, and Christiane Seidel.
The movie is “set in the trucking industry and its involvement in the seamy underbelly of human trafficking. When her brother's life is threatened, Sally (Binoche), a truck driver, reluctantly agrees to smuggle illicit cargo: a girl named Leila (Finley). As Sally and Leila begin a danger-fraught journey traveling across state lines, a dogged FBI operative (Freeman) sets out on their trail, determined to do whatever it takes to terminate a human-trafficking operation — and bring Sally and Leila to safety.”
This is definitely a very different kind of role for Binoche to take on, but it looks like she pulls it off! The movie is being directed by Anna Gutto, who is making her feature directorial debut. The movie is going to be dumped onto VOD, but this looks like a quality film!
Paradise Highway will be releaded in select US theaters and on VOD starting July 29th, 2022. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think!
