Trailer For a Great-Looking Animated Sci-Fi Noir Thriller MARS EXPRESS

The first trailer has dropped for the highly acclaimed animated French sci-fi film Mars Express. This seriously looks like a great movie that has a sci-fi noir Blade Runner-type vibe.

The movie is set in the year 2200, and in the story, “private detective Aline Ruby and her android partner Carlos Rivera are hired by a wealthy businessman to track down a notorious hacker. On Mars, they descend deep into the underbelly of the planet's capital city where they uncover a darker story of brain farms, corruption, and a missing girl who holds a secret about all the robots that threatens to change the face of the universe.”

Mars Express is directed by Jérémie Périn, making his first feature film debut. The voice cast includes Léa Drucker, Mathieu Amalric, Daniel Njo Lobé, Marie Bouvet, and Sébastien Chassagne.

As a sci-fi movie fan, I’m actually pretty excited about watching this. GKids will release Mars Express in US theaters sometime in 2024. Check out the trailer!
