Trailer for a New BREAKING BAD Game That Will Let You Run Your Own Drug Empire
There’s a new Breaking Bad-themed mobile game coming out called Breaking Bad: Criminal Elements. It’s free to play strategy game that is based on elements from the original AMC series.
The game will allow players to “experience the complex moral decisions explored in the show, and the strategy elements will come from navigating those decisions while still running the drug operation successfully.”
It’s kinda like Rollercoaster Tycoon, only instead of running a crazy theme park, you’re running a meth empire. According to the press release, players will assume the role of an “associate” of the famous duo of Walt and Jesse. Gus, Saul, and Mike will also make appearances in the game.
Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has also been working on the development of the game with FTX Games, and this is what he said about it in a statement:
“We’ve had a great time working with FTX Games. They care as much about the details as our creative team, and I have been very impressed with their commitment to building an authentic extension of the series’ story universe. think this will be a fun experience for fans, to interact with characters from ‘Breaking Bad’ in a completely new way.”
Breaking Bad: Criminal Elements will be released sometime in 2019. I guess running a drug empire seems like it would be a fun thing to do to pass the time.
