Trailer For a New Horror Movie THE EVIL NEXT DOOR Involves a Creepy Little Kid and His Stepmom
Magnet Releasing has shared a trailer for an upcoming creepy-looking Swedish horror film titled The Evil Next Door. It looks like it takes a familiar horror story but retells it in a new way and it actually looks like a decent film that will offer some good scares!
The movie revolves around a creepy little kid who makes a friend with a ghost in their house and his stepmom trying to deal with that. “New to her stepmom role, Shirin (Dilan Gwyn) moves into a duplex home with her partner, Fredrik (Linus Wahlgren), and his son, Lucas. The new home feels like the right place to start becoming a family. But when Fredrik leaves for work, strange things are heard from the other, uninhabited side. Also – who is Lucas' new friend?”
When I was looking for reviews of the film, Dread Central said it's "one of the scariest supernatural horror movies I’ve seen in years!"
The Evil Next Door was co-written and co-directed by Oskar Mellender and Tord Danielsson, both making their feature directorial debut. The movie will arrive on VOD in the US on June 25th.
