Trailer for Aaron Eckhart and Jonathan Rhys Meyers' Vietnam War Move AMBUSH
Saban Films has released a trailer for an upcoming action movie war thriller titled Ambush. The movie centers on a group of elite commandos, who are sent on a mission to collect highly classified information that will change the fate of the Vietnam war.
Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight) and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Vikings) star in the movie which is described as being an “intense, gritty, action-packed Vietnam War epic.” In the story “when a small outpost is ambushed, a US Army squad must take the battle below ground on a high-stakes mission in a new type of warfare the likes of which they have never seen.”
The movie was directed by veteran producer Mark Burman, and it also stars Connor Paolo, Mara Lane, Patrick R. Walker, and Jason Genao. There have been some great Vietnam war movies made over the years, this one does not come close to the bar that those previous films set, but Maybe it’ll entertain some people.
Saban Films will release the movie in US theaters and on VOD starting February 24th, 2023.
