An action packed trailer has been released for the rescue thriller Man of War, starring LaMonica Garrett, Jason Patric, Andrew Howard, Linds Edwards, Daniel Bernhardt, and Rosmary Yaneva.

The film is directed by William Kaufman (The Prodigy, Saints and Sinners, The Hit List) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Paul Reichelt.

The synopsis reads: “Man of War stars LaMonica Garrett as an elite American Special Forces veteran. Against the backdrop of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the mission becomes deeply personal when his adopted daughter, an aid worker in the country, is held hostage by Russian mercenaries.

“Forced to navigate a brutal landscape of fire and betrayal, he must risk everything on this high-stakes hostage rescue.”

This is a straight to VOD release, but it does have good production value and a ton of action. Plus I am always delighted to see Jason Patric pop up in any project.
