A new trailer has been released for the action thriller Thieves Highway, starring Aaron Eckhart and Devon Sawa, as well as Lochlyn Munro, Darin Cooper, and Lucy Martin. The film is directed by Jesse V. Johnson (The Last Sentinel, The Debt Collector, Triple Threat) from a screenplay by Travis Mills, based on a story by Mills and J.D. Pepper.

The synopsis reads:

“After a deadly confrontation, lawman Frank Bennett (Aaron Eckhart) uncovers a massive smuggling ring. Cut off from cell service and stranded without his truck, Frank is forced to take on a dangerous gang led by a deranged ex-military commander. Stopping them before they reach the border isn’t just his duty, it’s his only shot at survival.”

This kind of looks like an action movie we’ve all seen before, but at least the quality is pretty good. Check out the trailer below, and watch Thieves Highway in select US theaters on December 12th, and on VOD on December 16th.
