Teaser Trailer for Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig's Dark Comedy WHITE NOISE From Director Noah Baumbach
Netflix has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming dark comedy film White Noise, which comes from writer and director Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story, Greenberg). The movie is based on Don DeLillo’s 1985 satire novel of the same nam,e and it stars Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig.
The story focuses on a family whose mundane life gets disrupted when they find themselves facing an apocalyptic event. Here’s the synopsis:
At once hilarious and horrifying, lyrical and absurd, ordinary and apocalyptic, White Noise dramatizes a contemporary American family's attempts to deal with the mundane conflicts of everyday life while grappling with the universal mysteries of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.
It looks like it could be a great flick and it certainly does tell an interesting story. Joining Driver and Gerwig are Don Cheadle, Raffey Cassidy, Sam Nivola, May Nivola, Lars Eidinger, Andre Benjamin, and Jodie Turner-Smith.
