Trailer for Adam Sandler's Basketball Drama HUSTLE From Producer LeBron James
Netflix has released the first trailer for Adam Sandler’s upcoming basketball drama Hustle. The movie comes from producer LeBron James and it feels like a love letter to basketball.
Sandler plays a washed-up basketball scout who discovers a star athlete (Juancho Hernangómez) with a rocky past on the street ball courts of Spain. The two end up going to the U.S. to prove that they have what it takes to make it in the NBA, but it’s not an easy journey for them.
Here’s the official synopsis:
After discovering a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad, a down on his luck basketball scout (Adam Sandler) takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team's approval. Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.
The movie was directed by Jeremiah Zagar (We the Animals) with a script written by Taylor Materne and Will Fetters. The movie also stars Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Kenny Smith, Ainhoa Pillet, Raul Castillo, Jordan Elizabeth Hull, Maria Botto, Heidi Gardner, and Robert Duvall.
