Trailer For Alec Baldwin's Airplane Hijacking Thriller 97 MINUTES
101 Films has released a trailer for Alec Baldwin and Jonathan Rhys Meyers’s airplane hijacking thriller 97 Minutes. The movie centers on a hijacked 767 that will crash when its fuel runs out.
The synopsis reads: “A hijacked 767 will crash in just 97 minutes when its fuel runs out. Against the strong will of NSA Deputy Toyin, NSA Director Hawkins (Baldwin) prepares to have the airplane shot down before it does any catastrophic damage on the ground, leaving the fate of the innocent passengers in the hands of Alex (Rhys Meyers), an undercover Interpol agent who has been embedded in the terrorist cell.”
The movie is directed by Timo Vuorensola and it also stars MyAnna Buring, Jo Martin, Michael Sirow, Pavan Grover, Anjul Nigam, Peter Brooke, and Slavko Sobin.
This looks like a ridiculous over-the-top thriller that some audiences are sure to enjoy. It may not be one of Baldwin’s best films, but it looks like it could offer some decent entertainment. 101 Films debuts the film on VOD in the UK on June 19th. It will also open in select theaters and on VOD in the US on June 9th, 2023.
