Netflix has released the first trailer for Alyssa Milano’s upcoming murder mystery thriller Brazen, which is an adaptation of Nora Roberts’ Brazen Virtue.

The story follows a prominent mystery writer and crime expert, Grace (Milano), who “hurries back to her family home in Washington, D.C. because her estranged sister summons her. When her sister is killed and her double life as a webcam performer is revealed, Grace ignores the warnings of cool-headed detective Ed (Sam Page) and gets involved in the case.”

The movie was directed by Monika Mitchell (Witness, Break a Leg, John Apple Jack, and The Knight Before Christmas) and it also stars Sam Page, Malachi Weir, Barry W. Levy, Colleen Wheeler, Lossen Chambers, and Matthew Finlan.

This looks like it’s on par with those murder mystery thrillers that you’d see on Lifetime. So, if you’re into those kinds of films, this is for you. Netflix will release the movie on January 13th, 2022.
