Trailer For Amy Adams' New Dark Crime Thriller HBO Series SHARP OBJECTS

HBO has released a new full trailer for their upcoming limited series Sharp Objects. The dark psychological thriller stars Amy Adams and it's based on the book by Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl, Dark Places).

The story follows a reporter named Camille Preaker (Adams), who returns to her small hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. As she tries to "put together a psychological puzzle from her past, she finds herself identifying with the young victims a bit too closely."

If you enjoy the kind of programming that HBO puts out, Sharp Objects looks like a series that you'll want to watch. It seems like it's going to be an intriguing crime thriller.

The eight-episode series also stars Patricia Clarkson, Chris Messina, Eliza Scanlen, Elizabeth Perkins and Matt Craven. The series will premiere on HBO in July 2018.
