Trailer for Apple TV+ Dark Dramedy Series BAD SISTERS
A trailer has been released for the upcoming Apple TV+ dark dramedy series Bad Sisters. The show follows five sisters who “are bound together by the death of their parents and a promise to always protect each other.”
The show is written and created by BAFTA winner Sharon Horgan, who I mostly know as an actress in films like Game Night and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, but she also created other series like Catastrophe, Divorce, Motherland, and Shining Vale. She stars in this series as well along with Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson, who portray the Garvey sisters. Joining them are Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab, and newcomer Saise Quinn.
The synopsis reads:
“A delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller, the series follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another. When their brother-in-law winds up dead, his life insurers launch an investigation to prove malicious intent — and set their sights on the sisters, all of whom had ample reason to kill him.”
This looks like such a good series, and while some may consider these sisters bad, I just consider them badasses. I can’t wait to watch! Bad Sisters is set to premiere on Apple on August 19th with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through October 14th. Check out the trailer below:
