Trailer for BED REST Features SCREAM Star Melissa Barrera Being Terrorized in a Haunted House
Tubi released a trailer for a new original horror film titled Bed Rest. The movie stars Melissa Barrera (In the Heights, Scream), and in the story she finds herself in a haunted house being terrorized by ghosts. This actually looks like it’ll be a decent horror movie!
The movie was written by Lori Evans Taylor (Final Destination 6), who is also making her directorial debut. The movie was originally supposed to be released in theaters, but now it’s coming exclusively to Tubi. Here’s the synopsis:
After years of struggling to start a family, Julie Rivers (Barrera) is pregnant again and moving into a new home with her husband as they embrace a fresh start. Upon being ordered to mandatory bed rest, Julie begins to slowly unravel as she suffers through the monotony and anxiety of her new constraints. Soon, terrifying ghostly experiences in the home begin to close in on Julie, stirring up her past demons and causing others to question her mental stability. Trapped and forced to face her past, and the supernatural, Julie fights to protect herself and her unborn baby.

The movie will be released on December 7th only on Tubi.
