Trailer for Cinemax's Martial Arts Action Series WARRIOR Season 2 - The Battle for San Fransisco Continues

Cinemax has shared the first exciting teaser trailer for the second season of the hit martial arts action drama series Warrior. The first season of this series was fantastic and a must-watch for any martial arts fan. As the trailer shows, the battle for San Francisco continues in the late 19th century.

The series is based on the writings of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, and it was created by and is executive produced by Jonathan Tropper (Banshee) and executive produced by Justin Lin (Star Trek Beyond, F9: The Fast Saga) and Bruce Lee’s daughter, Shannon Lee.

Warrior is a gritty, action-packed crime drama set during the brutal Tong Wars of San Francisco’s Chinatown in the late 19th century. The series follows “Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji), a martial arts prodigy who emigrates from China to San Francisco under mysterious circumstances. After proving his worth as a fighter, Ah Sahm becomes a hatchet man for the Hop Wei, one of Chinatown’s most powerful Tongs (Chinese organized crime family). Season two follows rival Chinatown Tongs as they fight for dominance amidst the growing anti-Chinese fervor that threatens to destroy them all.”

The second season of the series features returning series regulars Kieran Bew (The Street), Celine Buckens (War Horse), Olivia Cheng (Marco Polo), Dianne Doan (Vikings), Dean Jagger (Game of Thrones), Andrew Koji (Snake Eyes), Langley Kirkwood (Banshee), Hoon Lee (Banshee), Christian McKay (Me and Orson Welles), Joe Taslim (A Night Comes For Us), Jason Tobin (Fast & Furious 9), Joanna Vanderham (Eddie & Sunny), Tom Weston-Jones (Dickensian), and Perry Yung (The Knick).

New season two series regulars include Dustin Nguyen (21 Jump Street), Chen Tang (Mulan), Miranda Raison (Artemis Fowl), and recurring series regular Maria Elena Laas (Vida).

The second season of Warrior is set to debut this October on Cinemax.
