Trailer for CORPORATE RETREAT Turns Team-Building into a Bloody Nightmare

This is the first trailer for Corporate Retreat, and it’s pitching a pretty savage idea. What if your cushy corporate getaway turned into a full-on fight for survival. Passage Pictures has unveiled the first look at the horror dark comedy, and it leans hard into gory chaos mixed with intentionally cheesy fun laughs.

The movie centers on a group of ambitious young executives head off to a luxury team-building retreat, hoping to climb the corporate ladder. Instead, their weekend spirals into blood-soaked madness when their leader snaps and turns on them.

Alan Ruck plays the unhinged corporate executive at the center of the carnage, surrounded by an ensemble that includes Odeya Rush, Ashton Sanders, Rosanna Arquette, Sasha Lane, Zion Moreno, Tyler Alvarez, and Benjamin Norris.

Everyone seems dialed up to eleven, which makes the whole thing feel more like a gruesome corporate satire than a straight survival thriller. It looks kind of fun, though the over-the-top delivery might be a bit much compared to other films playing in this space.

The official synopsis reads: “Climbing the corporate ladder is not for the weak. Do you have what it takes to win? Find out a Phoenix Corporate Retreat! Ambitious young corporate execs on a team-building retreat face a deadly struggle when their leader turns violently against them.”

The movie is directed by Aaron Fisher, who previously helmed Inside the Rain along with several short films. The screenplay is co-written by Kerri Lee Romeo and Fisher, with special make-up effects handled by Gary J. Tunnicliffe.

Corporate Retreat is described as a “bloody white-knuckle ride that redefines the modern horror genre.” The movie looks like it will include some outrageous moments, and if you’re in the mood for a horror comedy that doesn’t take itself seriously and isn’t afraid to get messy, this could scratch that itch.

Corporate Retreat is aiming for a theatrical release sometime in 2026.
