Trailer for Daniel Craig's QUEER from Director Luca Guadagnino

A24 has released the first trailer for Daniel Craig’s upcoming film Queer, which comes from director Luca Guadagnino (Challengers, Call Me By Your Name, Suspiria, Bones and All,).

The movie is adapted from the William S. Burroughs novel, and the story is set in the 1950s. William Lee (Craig), “an American expat in Mexico City, spends his days almost entirely alone, except for a few contacts with the other members of the small American community.

“His encounter with Eugene Allerton ( Drew Starkey), an expat former soldier new to the city, shows him – for the first time – it might be finally possible to establish an intimate connection with somebody.”

The cast also includes Lesley Manville, Jason Schwartzman, Henrique Zaga, Omar Apollo, amd Colin Bates.

A24 will release Queer in select US theaters starting on November 27th, 2024. The movie has been getting high praise, particularly in regards to Craig’s performance.
