Trailer For Dark Romantic Comedy AND MRS Starring Aisling Bea, Colin Hanks & Billie Lourd
A trailer has been released for the unconventional and dark romantic comedy, And Mrs, starring Aisling Bea, Colin Hanks and Billie Lourd, as well as Susan Wokoma, Harriet Walter, and Elizabeth McGovern.
The story follows a woman who is left reeling after her fiancé suddenly passes away, and she has to decide how to move forward. The film is directed by Daniel Reisinger in his feature directorial debut, from a screenplay written by Melissa Bubnic.
The synopsis reads:
“A hilarious and heartfelt comedy drama about Gemma, a woman living in London whose American fiancé, Nathan, dies shortly before their wedding day. Never a true believer in modern marriage, his death makes Gemma re-evaluate the promise of a life spent together.
When, with some encouragement from Nathan's chaotic and unconventional sister, Audrey, she decides to go ahead with the wedding anyway, she has to overcome public opinion, the law of the land and even her own family’s objections for the right to finally say ‘I do.’"
This looks like a very sweet and heartfelt film with a new twist on the genre. And Mrs is set to hit UK cinemas on September 2nd, and has yet to set a US release date.
