Trailer for Dave Franco's Paranoia Horror Thriller THE RENTAL with Dan Stevens and Alison Brie
The first trailer has been released for an upcoming paranoia horror thriller titled The Rental. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Dave Franco (The Disaster Artist, Now You See Me), who also wrote the script with You’re Next screenwriter Joe Swanberg.
The film stars Dan Stevens and Alison Brie, and the story centers on a group of friends heading to a secluded getaway with killer views. Two couples embark on a weekend getaway to “a seemingly perfect house they’ve booked online, but what begins as a celebratory weekend for the four close friends turns into something far more sinister as secrets they’ve kept from each other are exposed and they realize they may not be alone.”
The movie looks like it’ll be a great edge-of-your-seat psychological thriller, and it also stars Jeremy Allen White (Shameless), Sheila Vand (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Snowpiercer), and Toby Huss (Halloween).
The Rental will be released by IFC Films in theaters on July 24th. I’ll definitely be watching this when it’s released!
