Trailer For David Fincher's Cinema Video Essay Netflix Series VOIR
Netflix has released the first trailer for David Fincher’s upcoming Netflix series Voir, which consists of a "collection of visual essays for the love of cinema." For those of you who are movie lovers, this is a series made just for you.
One of the writers on the series, Drew McWeeny, previously explained that the essays would be about “something that intrigues us or upsets us or that has to do with our connection to the movies.” He also said that it’s “not like any other show about movies that you’ve seen.”
I love this kind of stuff, and I love that it puts a focus on why we love movies. "From executive producers David Fincher & David Prior, Voir is a series of visual essays celebrating Cinema and the personal connection we each have to the stories we see on the big screen. From intimate personal histories to insights on character and craft, each episode reminds us why Cinema holds a special place in our lives."
There will be six episodes in total and the essays will be presented by Walter Chaw, Drew McWeeny, Taylor Ramos, Sasha Stone and Tony Zhou.
I'm excited to watch this! I’m all about celebrating the art of cinema! Movies have been such a huge part of my life. I love this line in the trailer, "The human eye won't see it, but they'll feel it."
Netflix will release Voir on December 6th, 2021. Will you be watching!?
