Trailer for Apple TV's DICKINSON Series Starring Hailee Steinfeld as the Famed Poet Emily Dickinson

We’ve got a strange little trailer for you to check out for the upcoming series Dickinson, starring Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Bumblebee).

The film is a new age twist on the biography of a teenage Emily Dickinson. What I know of the poet is that she was reclusive and withdrawn, while it looks like this series begs the question, what if Emily Dickinson was on an episode of Girls Gone Wild? Not like she’s flashing anyone, but she looks like maybe the 1850’s version of that. I suppose the series will help young people connect to the characters and time period a little more if it’s modernized. Maybe it will be fun. I’m willing to give it a shot.
