Trailer For Disney's Winnie The Pooh Inspired Film CHRISTOPHER ROBIN with Ewan McGregor
Disney has released the first trailer for their upcoming Winnie The Pooh inspired film, Christopher Robin. The story takes us into the life of Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) when he's all grown up after he left the imaginative world he created with Winnie The Pooh and friends behind him.
The movie seems to have a Hook type vibe too it as the happiness of childhood have been replaced by the burdens of adult responsibilities. Then, as you'll see in the trailer, his childhood animal friends will show up in a desperate time of need to help him.
This is just a teaser trailer, but I like what I'm seeing from it! It looks like it's going to be an inspiring heartwarming film.
The young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.
Christopher Robin was directed by Marc Forster (World War Z) and it also stars Hayley Atwell as Christopher Robin’s wife Evelyn; Bronte Carmichael as Christopher Robin’s daughter Madeline; and Mark Gatiss as Keith Winslow, Robin’s boss. As far as the voices of the characters go Jim Cummings plays Winnie the Pooh; Chris O’Dowd plays Tigger; Brad Garrett plays Eeyore; Toby Jones plays Owl; Nick Mohammed plays Piglet; Peter Capaldi plays Rabbit; and Sophie Okonedo palys Kanga.
The movie will be released in theaters on August 3rd.
