Trailer For Donnie Yen's Action Survival Thriller POLAR RESCUE
Donnie Yen (John Wick: Chapter 4, Ip Man) stars in a new Chinese action survival thriller titled Polar Rescue, and a trailer has been released promoting its US release. The film, which also goes by the title Come Back Home, centers on a young boy who gets lost in the middle of a harsh winter snowstorm, and his father embarks on a journey to save him. As a fan of Yen, this is a movie I’ll definitely be checking out.
The synopsis reads: “A young boy, Lele, goes missing in the Changbai mountains during a bitter snowstorm after an argument with this father. Approaching the vital 48 hour mark and with no sign of Lele, his father (Yen) takes it upon himself to brave an upcoming avalanche to save his son. Celebrate action star Donnie Yen as he reminds us why he's not only one of our best fighters, but also one of our best actors.”
The movie was written and directed by Lo Chi Leung and Well Go USA will release the movie Polar Rescue direct-to-VOD / Blu-ray on March 26th, 2024.
