Trailer for Doug Liman's Romantic Comedy Heist Thriller LOCKED DOWN with Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor
HBO Max has released the first trailer for director Doug Liman’s upcoming film Locked Down. The movie is a romantic comedy heist thriller that is set during a pandemic. It has an ensemble cast that is led by Anne Hathaway (Ocean’s 8, The Witches) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Old Guard, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness).
In the film, “just as they decide to separate, Linda (Hathaway) and Paxton (Ejiofor) find life has other plans when they are stuck at home in a mandatory lockdown. Co-habitation is proving to be a challenge, but fueled by poetry and copious amounts of wine, it will bring them closer together in the most surprising way.”
The rest of the cast includes Stephen Merchant (Jojo Rabbit, The Good Place), Lucy Boynton (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Politician), Ben Kingsley (Perpetual Grace, LTD, Iron Man 3), Mindy Kaling (A Wrinkle in Time, Ocean’s 8), Ben Stiller (Escape at Dannemora, Brad’s Status), and Dulé Hill (Psych, Ballers).
Locked Down is set to premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, January 14. I tend to like the films that Liman makes, and this one looks like it could be fun. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think.
