Trailer for Drama WALKAWAY JOE, a Father and Son Story Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan
We’ve got a trailer for you to check out today for the movie Walkaway Joe, a family drama that centers around a father, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), and son, played by Julian Feder (A Boy Called Po), who have a bond in playing pool. The cast also includes David Strathairn (A League of Their Own, L.A. Confidential) and Julie Ann Emery (Fargo, Better Call Saul).
The film was directed by Tom Wright, who has mostly been known for acting, in his feature directorial debut, and was written by Michael Milillo, in his feature writing debut as well.
Here’s the synopsis that was released for the film:
WALKAWAY JOE is the story of an unlikely friendship between a young boy searching for his father in pool halls across the country, and a wandering loner hiding from his past. In each other they experience the power of a second chance, and a shot at redemption.
