Check out this trailer to a new getaway thriller called Drive Hard that stars John Cusack and Thomas Jane. The movie was directed Brian Trenchard-Smith, who is the director of Leprechaun 4: In Space. Jane plays a race car driver, and Cusack plays a bank robber. Before you write off the movie due to lack of confidence in the director, just watch the trailer. It actually looks like it could be a fun movie worth checking out. You really can't go wrong Cusack and Jane, and it seems like they make a solid on-screen team.
American thief, Simon Keller (Cusack), arrives in a foreign country in need of a getaway driver. Rather than recruit one from the underworld, he takes a driving lesson from ex F-1 champion, Peter Roberts (Jane), now working as a driving instructor. After Keller robs a bank during the lesson, Roberts has no choice, but to use his driving talent to get away from pursuing police and mobsters.
