Trailer For Drug Crime Thriller AMERICAN SICARIO Starring Danny Trejo

Saban Films has released the first trailer for the upcoming drug crime thriller American Sicario, which tells the story of the rise and fall of the first American-born drug lord in Mexico. It looks like a decent film worth checking out if you enjoy these kinds of stories.

The movie stars Danny Trejo and Philippe A. Haddad and it tells the tale of “power, money, greed and betrayal amongst rival members of the drug cartels finds American gangster Erik Vasquez (Haddad) scheming to become the top dog in the Mexican underworld, only to find himself making enemies out of both the powerful cartels and his own allies.” Trejo will be taking on the role of the father of a partner of the film's main drug lord.

The film is directed by RJ Collins, who will be making his directorial debut. The script was written by Rich Ronat who previously wrote The Rising Hawk and the Nicolas Cage-starring Grand Isle.

The film will be released in theaters, On Demand, and digital on December 10, 2021.
