Trailer for Eli Roth's Cannibal Film THE GREEN INFERNO

It's been over a year since the first photo for director Eli Roth's cannibal thriller The Green Inferno was released. Today the first teaser trailer was released, and it gives us a glimpse of what looks to be a crazy terrifying movie. The story follows a group of student activists from New York City who travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe. They end up crash landing in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they're trying to save, who also want to eat the them. What makes this movie even more interesting is the fact that Roth shot the film on location in Peru, and they used a real tribe in that location that has never been captured on film before. I wonder how many people were eaten for real during the making of the film.

The movie comes out on September 5th. I'm not the biggest fan of Roth's work, but I will go see this movie because I'm intrigued by the concept of how it was filmed.
