Trailer for Faith-Based Animated Film THE KING OF KINGS Starring Oscar Issac and Mark Hamill

Angel Studios has released a trailer for its upcoming faith-based animated film The King of Kings. The film is based on the book The Life of Our Lord by Charles Dickens and the story chronicles the life story of Jesus Christ.

The film has a staked cast of voice actors that includes Oscar Issac as Jesus Christ, alongside Kenneth Branagh as Charles Dickens, Uma Thurman as Mrs. Dickens, Mark Hamill as Herrod, Pierce Brosnan as Pontius Pilot, Roman Griffin Davis as Walter Dickens, Forest Whitaker as Peter, and Ben Kingsley as High Priest Caiaphus.

The synopsis reads: “A father tells his son the greatest story ever told, and what begins as a bedtime tale becomes a life-changing journey. Through vivid imagination, the boy walks alongside Jesus, witnessing His miracles, facing His trials, and understanding His ultimate sacrifice.

The King of Kings invites us to rediscover the enduring power of hope, love, and redemption through the eyes of a child.”

The film comes from first-time director Seong-ho Jang who also wrote the screenplay with Rob Edwards.

The King of Kings will be released in theaters on April 11th.
