Trailer For Frank Grillo's Drug Cartel Action Crime Drama LITTLE DIXIE
Paramount Movies has released the first trailer for a new action-packed crime drama titled Little Dixie. The movie stars Frank Grillo as an Ex-Special Forces Operative Doc who facilitates a delicate truce between the Governor and Cartel, trading prosecutorial leniency for finance. When the truce falls apart, Doc fight for his life and the life of his young daughter named “Little Dixie.”
The movie is also described as a revenge thriller, and in the story, “When a deal goes wrong between a corrupt Governor and a ruthless drug lord, ex-Special Forces Operative Doc (Grillo) is caught in the crosshairs. Now, with his family in danger, Doc must take down the Mexican drug cartel and do whatever it takes to protect the one good thing in his life - his young daughter, ‘Little Dixie’.”
The film was directed by John Swab (Let Me Make You a Martyr, Run with the Hunted, Body Brokers, Ida Red, and Candy Land) and it also stars Eric Dane, Beau Knapp, Annabeth Gish, Peter Greene, Thomas Dekker, Mercedes Mason, and Maurice Compte.
I like Frank Grillo, but this is just another one of those dime-a-dozen movies that will be completely forgettable. Paramount Movies will debut Swab's Little Dixie direct-to-VOD starting on February 3rd, 2023.
