Trailer for Freddie Highmore and Famke Janssen's Heist Thriller THE VAULT
Saban Films has released a new trailer for a fun looking action heist-thriller titled The Vault. The film was directed by Jaume Balagueró and stars Freddie Highmore (The Good Doctor), Famke Janssen (X-Men), Astrid Bergès-Frisbey (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), and Sam Riley.
The film is described as a globe-trotting, action-packed thriller following a high-risk heist. “When an engineer (Highmore) learns of a mysterious, impenetrable fortress hidden under The Bank of Spain, he joins a crew of master thieves who plan to steal the legendary lost treasure locked inside while the whole country is distracted by Spain’s World Cup Final. With thousands of soccer fans cheering in the streets, and security forces closing in, the crew have just minutes to pull off the score of a lifetime.”
I’ve always enjoyed watching heist movies, and The Vault looks like it’ll be a solidly entertaining flick. I’ll be looking forward to watching it. The movie will be released in theaters, digital, and On Demand on March 26th.
