Trailer for Gritty Detective Thriller CRESCENT CITY Starring Terrence Howard, Esai Morales, Alec Baldwin and Nicky Whelan
A trailer has been released for the gritty detective thriller Crescent City, starring Terrence Howard, Esai Morales, Nicky Whelan, Weston Cage, and Alec Baldwin. The film is directed by RJ Collins (American Sicario, Don't Suck) from a screenplay written by Rich Ronat.
The film’s synopsis reads:
“In this new crime mystery, when a small southern town is terrorized by a relentless serial killer everyone becomes a suspect... including local authorities. As the body count rises and the dark mystery deepens, the chief detective becomes haunted by the horrors of his past. Academy Award Nominees Terrence Howard and Alec Baldwin star in a mesmerizing crime thriller about what it costs to catch a killer.”
This doesn’t look that great. It’s got some good actors, but it looks like it’s trying to lean into the sex and shock of it all instead of focusing on a really good story. Maybe it will surprise us though.
