Trailer for HBO Max Limited Series WE ARE WHO WE ARE From CALL ME BY YOUR NAME Director Luca Guadagnino
We’ve got a trailer for you to check out for the upcoming HBO Max limited series We Are Who We Are. The short series is being directed by Luca Guadagnino, who directed Call Me By Your Name and the remake of Suspiria. Guadagnino also co-wrote the story alongside Francesca Manieri, Paolo Giordano, and Sean Conway.
The series stars Jack Dylan Grazer (It, Shazam!), Alice Braga (I Am Legend, Elysium), Chloë Sevigny (Boys Don’t Cry, Big Love), Jordan Kristine Seamón, Spence Moore II (13 Reasons Why, A.P. Bio), Kid Cudi (Need For Speed, Westworld), Faith Alabi, Francesca Scorsese, Ben Taylor, Corey Knight, Tom Mercier, and Sebastiano Pigazzi.
Here’s the synopsis:
A story about two American kids who live on a U.S. military base in Italy, the series explores friendship, first-love, identity, and immerses the audience in all the messy exhilaration and anguish of being a teenager – a story which could happen anywhere in the world, but in this case, happens in this little slice of America in Italy.
This looks like a heavy drama with some great performances. I am always captivated by Jack Dylan Grazer in every performance he delivers, so I am looking forward to this series. Check out the trailer below, and watch the series premiere for We Are Who We Are on HBO Max on September 14th.
