Trailer For Hilary Duff's Thriller THE HAUNTING OF SHARON TATE
Here’s a trailer for The Haunting of Sharon Tate, a biopic based on the final days in the life of the model, actress, and wife of director Roman Polanski, Sharon Tate. Tate was brutally murdered with four of her friends by being stabbed to death by members of the Manson Family cult in 1969 in her home in Los Angeles, just two weeks before she was due to give birth to her baby boy.
Hilary Duff returns to the big screen to play the late actress in what will portray the murders from Tate’s point of view. The movie is based on a quote given by Tate in an interview she gave a year before her death where she gave accounts of having nightmares that ghosts haunted her home, and that she would be murdered by a satanic cult.
The movie looks like it could be just another horror film, with good jumps and scares for those who enjoy that sort of thing. But I honestly can’t imagine watching this movie, knowing how this all went down and what happened to this poor young woman and her baby.
I’m a murderino and I am fascinated by the murder genre, but this honestly just looks so sad. Duff looks like she does an incredible job, though. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think:
